| This beautifully appointed Manor House was constructed in 1794 as a coaching inn on the main route from Nottingham to Ashby. It was originally named The Rawdon Hotel and was conceived and built by the Marquis of Hastings. Now a privately owned hotel, providing a high level of service and intimacy, which is difficult to find in larger hotels, it provides contemporary styling in truly classic surroundings.
Just off junction 28 of the M1 motorway, on the A38, less than 7 miles (11.3 km) from Mansfield city centre, the hotel offers comfortable, great-value rooms and free parking.
